The safety control products produced by HIMA company meet the highest level requirements for safety control, such as IEC61508 and DIN19250, and have obtained T ü V certification with the highest level AK7/SIL4. With the development of electronic technology, HIMA”s security control system has developed to the fourth generation. In 1998, HIMA launched the CPU quadruple structure (QMR) security control systems H41q and H51q, which made a significant breakthrough in security control technology and achieved the first time that the security control system has a fault free repair time limit. This technology is currently the most advanced and reliable in the field of security control in the world.
1、 Development of Security Control System Technology X-BASE-PLATE-18-01 Digital input module HIMA
The safety control system is a control system specifically designed for interlocking and emergency shutdown in hazardous areas (such as petrochemical plants). The essential difference between it and ordinary process control DCS and PLC is that its function is to enable the device to safely stop and be in a safe state in case of accidents and faults (including device accidents and control system failures), in order to avoid the occurrence of disasters, such as injury to device personnel and impact on the environment. Therefore, the safety control system itself must be a fail to safe type, The reliability of both the hardware and software of the system is highly required. In the international safety standard IEC61508, there are detailed regulations on the requirements for safety levels and safety control systems. T ü V is currently the only security control system certification body in the world.  X-BASE-PLATE-18-01 Digital input module HIMA
Since HIMA first launched the T ü V certified fail safe safety control system HIMA Planar System in 1970, the safety control system has a development history of thirty years.
The H41q/H51q system of HIMA adopts a QMR Quadruple Modular Redundant CPU structure, which means that the central control unit of the system consists of four microprocessors. Each two microprocessors are integrated into a CU module, and the central control unit is composed of two identical CU modules. A CU module constitutes a 1oo2D structure, and HIMA”s 1oo2D structure products can meet the safety standards of AK6/SIL3. In order to provide users with maximum availability, a dual 1oo2D structure, i.e. a 2oo4D structure, is adopted. In the case of redundant structure, the high-speed dual RAM interface (DPR) enables communication between two central units, thereby solving the problem of limited fault free repair time. Its fault-tolerant function ensures that any component in the system malfunctions without affecting the normal operation of the system.
The H41q series is a compact system mainly composed of a 5-unit high 19 inch rack. The central rack houses all components, including the central unit, interfaces, communication modules, power and distribution systems, and input/output modules.
The HIMA Programmable Electronic System (PES) HIQuad system mainly includes two series, H41q and H51q, which are based on the same hardware and software, and are the third generation of HIMA PES systems that have been verified in production practice. It can utilize personal computers for flexible user configuration, monitoring, and event recording, and its excellent performance provides the safest control guarantee for production control.
