Causes and solutions of scaling in steam turbine condenser
Condenser is a heat exchanger that condenses the exhaust steam of steam turbine into water, also known as water recovery device. The condensed water generated in the process of condensation, after being collected, will enter the circulating system again and again for recycling. Condenser scaling is generally composed of fine particles of sand, dust, sludge of insoluble salts, colloidal hydroxide, impurities and debris, corrosion products, oil stains, dead bodies of bacteria and algae, and viscous secretions. When the water containing these substances passes through the heat exchange surface, it is easy to form dirt deposits, especially in the parts with slow flow rate. The heat exchange surface is often attached with rust nodules, which are often deposited on the heat transfer surface together with scale microorganisms and slime. Scaling cleaning solution of steam turbine condenser:
1. Conventional cleaning method:
Condenser cleaning is divided into physical cleaning and chemical cleaning. Physical cleaning generally uses high-pressure water jet to clean the dirt on the condenser pipes; Chemical cleaning is mostly acid cleaning, because acid cleaning needs to strictly control the amount and cleaning time. If it is not strictly controlled, it is easy to cause corrosion to the equipment. However, because cleaning is a dynamic and not completely computable work, most of the time, equipment cleaning is not so thorough for the sake of safety. Secondly, the waste liquid from cleaning is polluting, and a large amount of money is needed for waste water treatment.
2. Environmental cleaning agent cleaning
